Rodwell

The idea behind this project was to revive the late 1960’s home by embracing and playing up its heritage. We began by designing the space with a more modern and traditional aesthetic style using color, pattern repetition, and clean lines mixed with organic shapes that created a well-balanced furniture variety with accents falling on color and texture. The design included removing a wall from the kitchen which allowed an open space concept leading to the hallway. The new kitchen incorporated a peninsula that offered asymmetrical angles to space. The project also involved new bathrooms, walking closets, as well as new doors throughout the house. Furthermore, the installation of recessed lighting and chandeliers throughout the house played a significant role creating ambiance, enhancing colors and textures, and highlighting architectural features.
